Founded in 1995 under the patronage of the Clarinet and Saxophone Society of Great Britain, the ensemble includes professional musicians, amateurs, teachers, and students among its members.
The ensemble promotes the music of British composers by commissioning new works and expanding the repertoire. It has performed in Belgium, Italy, Japan, Spain, the United States, Hungary, and the Netherlands.
