He began studying piano at the age of nine and graduated with top marks from the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in 1994 under the guidance of Marina Baudoux. At the same time, he studied Composition at the Venice Conservatory and Jazz Piano with Bruno Cesselli. In 2009, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Jazz Piano from the Conservatorio Giuseppe Tartini, studying with pianists Glauco Venier and Marcello Tonolo.
He teaches Piano at the Liceo Musicale XXV Aprile, at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia, and at the Scuola di Musica Paul Jeffrey.
Since 1997, he has regularly performed as pianist at the Gran Caffè Chioggia in Venice, as well as in concerts in Italy and abroad with renowned artists including drummer Tullio De Piscopo, lyric-pop tenors Alessandro Safina and Luca Minnelli, jazz vibraphonist Daniele Di Gregorio, various opera and gospel choirs, the Maria Dal Rovere Live Band, and the Rodolfo Vitale Swing Band.
Since 2006, he has been a founding member of the Quinteto Porteno, with more than 100 concerts and four recordings to its credit. In 2021, he released the CD Bordo fiume, featuring original compositions in duo with double bassist Alessandro Turchet.
Since 2018, he has served as Artistic Director of the Street Piano Festival.
