Born in Hayange, France, in 1966, he graduated in Clarinet, Saxophone, and Band Instrumentation. As a clarinetist, he has been active in various chamber ensembles with which he has won numerous competitions. He performs with several groups and collaborates with local orchestras. Alongside his classical studies, he developed an interest in jazz, studying harmony and composition and further refining his skills at the Manhattan School of Music.
He is a founding member of the Zerorchestra, for which he performs as a musician and also composes soundtracks for silent films. He is actively involved in music education at private schools and public institutions, and conducts the Filarmonica di Pordenone. His composition Summer Sketches received second prize at the 1st International Competition for Arrangements on Villotte Friulane. In November 2006, he won the second overall prize (with no first prize awarded) at the “First Regional Competition for Band Conducting” in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
