The Azienda Pubblica di Servizi alla Persona Umberto I includes three important services for elderly people. A protected residence with 110 beds for non-self-sufficient individuals; it is a historic institution located in the heart of the city and recently renovated according to current regional regulations. Casa Serena is a protected residence with 243 beds for non-self-sufficient individuals and 12 for self-sufficient individuals, located in a neighborhood of the city and surrounded by a green area that is equipped and accessible to residents and visitors.
The facility also offers a semi-residential service mainly aimed at non-self-sufficient users, with the goal of relieving the family from daily care duties, allowing the elderly person to remain in their own home surrounded by their loved ones.
The Daytime Social Center of Porcia has 20 places for non-self-sufficient individuals.
